Identity Crisis...

Is this a towel...


or a placemat…


I’m never quite sure what the intended purpose is, but I do know I used Sugar ‘n Cream Painted Desert with size 4.2mms (US6) and the Stockinette Triangle Cloth pattern. This is smaller than my previous towel/placemats, with 51 sts. and 16 repeats because I had only 135 yards of the Painted Desert colourway on hand…


The finished blocked size is 11” x 14”, so for me this one works best as a placemat. In the meantime, I continue with my knitting of feathery cloths in Daisy Ombre …
