Stash Busters...
Three lengthwise scarves knit from my yarn stash...
All three were knit with size 8mms (US11), combining 2 or 3 worsted weight strands for each row. Cast on 150 stitches and knit 25 to 30 rows (depending on how long and wide you want your finished scarf), leaving an 8" tail at each end. Each row will need approximately 7 or 8 yards of each strand of yarn, while the cast-on and cast-off rows use at least 11 to 12 yards. The finished scarves in these photos are 60" in length. These babies are thick and cozy and use up a big chunk of stash.
Lunch on the patio; a time to kick back and eat some peanuts…
We’ve had ginormous amounts of rainfall this past week, but we’ve also had a few moments like this…
This morning we woke to snow, just a light dusting and it was gone within a few hours but for a short time, the world was magically white.
I’ll wish you a peaceful week and hope to see you next Friday.

Bid farewell to rainbow leaves -
Welcome wool sweaters.”
