Sarah's First Christmas...
This is the face of a bunny waiting with anticipation for Christmas dinner…
Her friends gathered round to enjoy the feast…
It was a festive occasion for all. The blue lights outline the window in K's workshop...
We decided to carry on K's family tradition and celebrate Christmas on the 24th. It feels so magical when we honour the holiday on Christmas Eve. K prepared dinner, I set the table and got in the way. After we'd eaten, everyone retired to the living room to unwrap gifts. We rounded off the evening by watching Elf and eating popcorn. I think somewhere in between those activities beer was consumed by one party.
Here are just a few of the 'made by hand' gifts under the tree this year.
Sarah received a new pal for Christmas. It was instant love...
On my needles, more hats from yarn that has been strung together…
and so this was Christmas…I am shattered but it was worth slipping back a little so I could enjoy my favourite time of year. Now we have New Years to look forward to.
Stay safe and we'll see you next Friday.
