A hint of autumn...

 It's only August but already there are signs of autumn with the flowers starting to fade and leaves falling from the trees.  Mind you, it's been a very dry, hot summer so it's not too surprising that trees are already shedding.  There are still some summer colours around.

We sit and admire the bright colours as seaplanes zoom back and forth...

The crows enjoy a cool breeze and a bit of rain...

I'm a rainy-day person, so lots of photos are taken when it rains, especially during a dry summer...

I thought my orchid had died but I kept watering and fertilizing, hoping for the best.  Two weeks ago the buds suddenly appeared and now we have gorgeous blooms again.  Nature is amazing...

I hope everyone is keeping well and coping through these crazy, stressful days.  We are both doing well and managing to enjoy every single day; nothing exciting, just small everyday stuff that gives a sense of continuity and purpose and joy.
