Hitchhiker...
A knitting project that isn't a cloth or a scarf...
it's a Hitchhiker Shawl, made with sock yarn and 3.5mm needles...
I've donated it elsewhere, so only a few more days to
admire my handiwork before it starts a journey to another home...
A few of the Chinese lanterns are still green...
but most have changed to shades of autumn...
and only a few hydrangeas are still light blue...the
rest are donning their mauve colours...
We've had more than our fair share of sunshine for
July but you can feel a change coming - the early morning air has a
slight edge to its softness and there is a chill in the late evening
air – mother nature's way of telling us to enjoy each delightful
moment of summer before it slips away...
much like this squirrel is enjoying his afternoon snack...
I'm wishing you good moments each day, dear reader!
“There shall be eternal summer in the grateful
heart.”
