Another one...

just like the other one...

another Bainbridge Scarf. I used Patons Astra in Electric Blues; I wasn’t sure about the colours in the skein but once I started knitting the pattern, all those bright hues came together just fine…

This design is so simple in the round, but if you are uncomfortable using circulars, you could knit back and forth and sew the seam together (just remember to reverse the second row to a purl row). I may knit one more…

The hydrangeas in their autumn colours…

and the last blossoms from the hanging basket…

We had our first frost this week, just a light touch, but enough to let us know autumn is firmly entrenched. The birds are grateful for the food we provide and the bravest of the squirrels peer through the patio door to see if we are paying attention to their needs. Every day there’s something to look forward to...

I’ll wish you a peaceful week, dear reader, and hope to see you next Friday. Take care.

“We cling to our own point of view as though everything depended on it, yet our opinions have no permanence; like autumn and winter, they gradually pass away.”
~ Chuang Tzu
