Mostly Blue...

Most of our hydrangea blossoms are fading to a pale blue…

and some are morphing to mauve as summer moves further along…

Small knits this week - a feather & fan cloth in Sugar ‘n Cream Countryside Ombre…

Soft Teal…

and Tie Dye…

Water…give me water…those peanuts are thirsty work…

This week we’ve had mostly cool wet days, intermingled with short bursts of sunshine. I love the way the weather in Richmond changes so quickly; just when you think the heat is firmly entrenched, dark billowy clouds move in and soon we hear the soft patter of rain on the leaves…

and then the sun rolls back in.

I’ll wish you a peaceful week, dear reader, and hope to see you next Friday. Enjoy the season, whatever it may be in your part of the world.

“There is no season such delight can bring
As summer, autumn, winter and the spring.”
~William Browne
