Late autumn...

The hydrangea blooms are mostly tinted mauve and brown but hidden in the higher reaches was this brave beauty…



More hats for charity. All are knitted from bits and pieces in my ever dwindling yarn stash...

It takes me two days to knit a hat, even with lots of ripping back and starting over. If only I could knit something more complex. I used to knit socks and sweaters and vests, back when I had a brain that worked. I’ve tried pushing past the barrier but it just seems to make things worse, so it will have to be simple projects for now.
