Warmish...

When the weather turns warmish I have the irresistible urge to make scarves – lots of scarves...

This is just a simple half-double-crochet design, repeated until the yarn runs out. I've used two skeins of Sugar 'n Cream cotton in the Chocolate Ombre colours...yummy...

The hydrangeas are very, very blue...

The poppies at Murakami House in Steveston are flourishing...

We spent an afternoon watching boats on the river...

Raccoon meandered through our garden early one morning...

and Squirrel was not amused...

The days have a summer holiday feel to them, slow and dreamy and filled with reading and naps and wandering in the garden, which leads to more naps - which reminds me, it's time for another nap. See you soon, dear reader.

“I drifted into a summer nap under the hot shade of July,
to drowsy warm dreams of distant thunder.”
