Our hostas are surfacing. Those purple spikes look fierce but they bloom into lush green plants later in the season...



If you want to view new life in the bird world, tune into the Hancock Wildlife Channel and you can watch streaming video of the Stanley Park herons or Sidney bald eagles on their nests (no babies yet). Scroll down until you see ‘choose a camera’, click on Stanley Park Herons (or another cam), scroll down a little further and click on ‘Full Screen’. Wait 10 seconds and the webcam will come up. There are also forums where you can read the latest news.
